You would need to have a second GPS receiver set up to know that.
It's a good idea to have two, hopefully different brand receivers.

Does the antenna have a good view of the sky?   If it is marginal then
it just might be that by luck once a day there are no good GPS sats in
view.  I'd think a person in Canada with a GPS looking out a north
window would have this problem but yours could be a less obvious case.

GPS jammers have been in the news recently.   Some truck drivers use
them so their boss can't track the truck.   Perhaps the local UPS
delivery truck driver carries one.   You'd need a second GPS receiver
to know.
