Maybe;
  Since he has only one point of reference,
   we don't know which is the problem;
    It could be 20.200.0.1 or 10.1.126.204

If he referenced all his clients to each other,
 and referenced 10.1.126.204 to the clients (even as noselect)
 I think he would be able to see where the issues are.
