Hi. Not sure this will help, but...

I did this a few years ago, on a fresh FreeBSD_8.0 install.

	http://blog.doylenet.net/?p=145

It worked well, very well, for years.

Sadly, that machine after years of 24/7 service, has recently developed
an odd fault that has corruped the hard drive in a very bad way, and
prevents a fresh install (of any OS) even with a known good (tested) new
drive (and cable!)

Anyone want a small format P3 doorstop?

So, I'll be attempting it soon with FreeBSD_9.2 on another box.

Best Regards.

Dave B.
