Yes, that would be a possibility, although there is no SNMP support in 
the current Windows port at the moment, and I don't have the expertise 
to write it (and if I did, it would be written in Delphi in any case).

I'm sure that others would rather stick with the ntpq commands they have 
developed over the decades rather than having to change for no perceived 
benefit.
