I'm having difficulty determining the NIST requirements for sensitive
systems on NTP authentication. FIPS 180-3 references SHA however to my
knowledge NTP authentication is native Kerberos for Windows, or NTP MD5
(non-compliant) or autokey.

Can you help clarify the Federal NTP requirements for authentication on
devices such as routers, switches, and Windows Platforms? A good URL,
document or any reference to this would be appreciated.
