Terje,

Thanks for the progress!

As soon as some dust settles I can work on creating an account for you,
if you like. I expect this will not happen for a couple of weeks.

As for your current patches, here are 2 ideas off the top of my head:

- See README.patches - it will tell you how to generate patches and
attach them to that bug report

- if you have a "visible" bk repo that contains your work, point me at it
and I will "pull" your changes over.

I've spent some time with this problem, and after some spelunking I
realized that we're actually using the library time_t to struct tm
conversion routines in lots of places, which means that this is the
place to implement any epoch overflow handling.

By now I've modified several files, not just the caljulian.c, and I'm
getting to the point where I need to upload my fixes:

How do I do it!?! :-)

Is it just a matter of running 'bk push', or do I need to do
someother/additional magic incantations?

Am I even allowed to upload any modifications at all, or do I have to
mail the modified files to Harlan or some other trusted maintainer?

Terje
