[time] good news and bad news

I just can not find a reason to begin contemplating solutions to what I do
not conceive as being a problem. This is not the stratum 1's united mailing
list of the world. It was my understanding that the pool project was
created to reduce the load on common place stratum 1/2 servers. Given the
apparently increasing client load we are experience I would imagine the
objective is slowly being realized; and given the context of this project I
find this particular conversation highly disturbing and irrelevant.

On a side note, if you believe the merits of your NTP daemon is that of a
Stratum 1 and consequently consider multiple hosts from a single subnet do
not deserve simultaneous rights to it, restricting specific hosts or entire
subnets will undermine the integrity of this project.

I was hoping there were some experiences from other public ntp servers
that might apply to the pool.
