Damn, that's what I was afraid of. ntptime on my machine shows:
status 0x2001 (PLL,NANO),
Back to the drawing board I guess. The same hardware was used for ntpd
4.0.99 on Linux, and pps worked there...so I know that it can work. The
only problem is how to correctly configure FreeBSD and ntpd 4.2.0.
