You'll get that for any https page at the site.  If somebody wants to donate
a certificate then let us know.  Our use of a self-signed certificate is
onsistent with other free sites that wish to provide https access for things
like passwords and frankly I'm surprised that it concerns some folks this
much.

Just ignore stuff you don't understand.

If you have something version- or OS-specific, simply note it in the text
and somebody can clean it up later.

We need additional content, and the folks who are skilled at adding content
are not necessarily the same folks who are skilled at organizing content.
