Hi all
I am trying to understand the numbers below from a "show ntp associations"
on a cisco switch.
The 2 ip's are located very close to each other physically and 10.12.82.2 is
synchronising with 10.46.100.100 which in turn is synchronising with our dc
on 10.82.208.101.

why the difference in numbers? and what does the numbers "when", "poll" ,
"delay" "offset" and "disp" mean? ?

address ref clock st when poll reach
delay offset disp

I am sorry if i am a little naive in asking you this, and would be glad if
you could recommend a good faq on this...
