In fact I don't need a fix at all.  I already solved my problem.
I only want to help the community so this error can be removed in
future products.  You know, the always acclaimed strong point of open
source projects: anyone can hunt for errors, correct them and the product
will be better.
When they don't want to listen, too bad.  Maybe it is not like that
after all.
